Earth crawled out of the small logging towns of Washington State and began deafening ears in the early '90s. After a long period of inactivity the longtime project of Dylan Carlson is active again, releasing new music and perfoming live. "Sunn Amps and Smashed Guitars" is the groups fourth album recorded live in London - with Dylan and Ian Dickson both on guitar. Early demos have been added on for extra value. "Legacy of Dissolution" is a collection of remixes from some of the groups whom Earth inspired - Mogwai, Jim O'Rourke and Justin Broadrick are among the contributors.
