In stores September 4th is the new record from Joan Shelley. Over and Even is a quick follow up to her acclaimed 2nd album Electric Ursa released not even a year ago. All of the songs on the album were written throughout 2014 and recorded in a Kentucky farmhouse over a cold January weekend. Most of the tracks were recorded live to tape, just Shelley and guitarist Nathan Salsburg in a room, while other Kentucky friends (Glen Dentinger, Rachel Grimes, Will Oldham and Dan Dorff) came by to help out.
